2018 Class

September 2018:  Hi Doug! Thank you for your awesome work with our children and the planting! Here are some photos from the day. We will also put some of them on our Facebook page, the website and the newsletter.

Blessings, Olya

July 2018:  Today we delivered 65 flax plants from our shade house to the Nowell’s Lakes Walkway. Doug said that our flax plants will be planted by the stream to help improve the water quality and once they grow they will provide shade to let friendly creepy crawlies to keep that water clean.  We think we like friendly creepy crawlies? - Maybe??

1st May: This morning Doug made us all work hard to plant 15 Kowhai plants and 50 Pohutukawa hedge plants at the Nowell's Lakes Walkway.  We had on-grown these plants over the last year in our shade house at school. After planting we got to have some fun with a run around at the Lakes and check out the Swans.
